Sigrune Tattoo Symbol - In Germany, the Netherlands, and Britain, this symbol has been used by Nazi parties and very much resembles the SS LIGHTNING BOLTS. The original form comes from the rune of the yew tree, the EIHWAZ, which has been associated with defense. Because of its long growing period, yew has a very dense and strong wood, and was used to make battle bows, the most dangerous weapon during the Viking era.
